At PHKK, we are tasked as the custodian of university strategic plan that positions Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) as the leading provider of engineering and technology-based programmes as well as cutting-edge research outputs. Since its establishment in 2002, UMP is committed to be the World-Class Technological University. Various achievement in academic and research have put UMP at a strong foundation towards achieving its vision. In 2021, we are proud to launch UMP Strategic Plan 2021-2025 (UMP25), that outlines university’s target to achieve excellence in High Level Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Innovation with Industry, High Impact Technology Exploration, Financial Sustainability, University Ecosystem as well as Internationalization and Graduate Entrepreneurship. Everyone in UMP takes part in UMP25, by primarily providing quality education and cutting edge research to the stakeholders.

The university performance is highly recognized by Malaysia Ministry of Higher Education where UMP is awarded 5 stars in Malaysian Research Assessment Instrument (MyRA), 5 stars in MyMoheS and 5 stars in SETARA. We are also proud to share with you that UMP is ranked Top 150 Asian university in QS Rankings, which we deem as a glorious achievement for a young university like us that is only about 20 years old. At PHKK, we are committed to align university strategies to become global recognized university and be one of the top choices at international education platform.

All the above mentioned achievements cannot be realized without upholding corporate quality. At PHKK, we ensure the offices in UMP are adopting best practices in carrying out their duties. Various ISO accreditations are in place to ensure UMP is providing the best service to its stakeholders.
